About The Position
The Faculty of Science, Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor for the course MAT1708 A00, Introduction au calcul différentiel et intégral, during the Fall 2026 semester. This course involves a review of elementary functions, an introduction to limits, geometric series, differential and integral calculus of functions of one variable, applications of the derivative and integral, linear approximation, and applications to optimization problems. The instructor will be responsible for coordinating the course across all sections.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Mathematics.
- Expert level knowledge of LaTeX (the universal mathematical editor).
- Must coordinate (across all sections).
- Article 5.1.2 will apply.
Responsibilities
- Teach the course MAT1708 A00, Introduction au calcul différentiel et intégral.
- Coordinate the course across all sections.
- Apply Article 5.1.2 of the collective agreement.
