This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the course Calcul différentiel et intégral pour les sciences de la vie I (MAT1730 Section A00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The course covers derivatives, including rules, composite functions, exponential, logarithmic, and basic trigonometric functions, higher-order derivatives, and function graphing, with applications to life sciences. It also includes discrete dynamical systems, equilibrium points, stability, and cobweb diagrams. Integrals covered include definite and indefinite integrals, the fundamental theorem of calculus, antiderivatives, and integration methods by substitution and parts, with applications to life sciences. All lectures will be conducted online via ZOOM or TEAMS. Midterm exams will be held in person on a Saturday (date to be determined by the successful candidate). An online lecture scheduled during the week of the midterm exam will be cancelled and replaced by the Saturday midterm exam. The professor must coordinate across all sections of the course.
