About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position to teach the course DVM 3506 Femmes, genre et développement (3 credits) during the Fall 2026 semester. This course offers a critical introduction to the issues of women, gender, and development, examining it as both a theoretical field of study and a domain of supranational, governmental, and non-governmental interventions. It analyzes key development paradigms and their potential impact on the needs and concerns of women in the Global South. The course is a lecture format and has a prerequisite of FEM 2509 or 54 university credits. It is also offered under the code FEM 3506. The class is scheduled for Tuesdays from 8:30 AM to 11:20 AM and will be delivered in person.

Requirements

  • Completed or in the process of completing a Doctorate in international development or a related field.
  • Competence in French (language of instruction).
