This course, FRA1750 Section A, is a survey of the most important texts on Canada from Jacques Cartier to the present day, covering Lower Canadian and Quebec literature and culture. It also explores the evolution of minority literatures (Francophone Ontario, Acadia) and First Nations literature. The course is offered in French and is scheduled for Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM and Thursdays from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. The expected enrollment is 60 students, and it is a 3-credit course.
