About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach the course FRA1528 Section A: La rédaction technique et scientifique during the Fall 2026 semester. The course focuses on the methodical initiation to the writing practices specific to scientific and technical fields, acquisition of specialized vocabulary, and learning various communication strategies through numerous exercises. The course is offered in French and will be delivered in person.

Requirements

• Doctorat en lettres françaises ou dans un domaine équivalent.
• Have already taught at least one language course.
• An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach the course FRA1528 Section A: La rédaction technique et scientifique.
• Provide methodical initiation to writing practices specific to scientific and technical fields.
• Facilitate the acquisition of specialized vocabulary.
• Teach various communication strategies.
• Conduct numerous exercises.
