About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the course "Gestion financière" (ADM2750P) during the 2027 Winter Semester at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa. The course covers financial markets, financial evaluation, investment choices under certainty, risk-return relationship, long-term financing, cost of capital, short-term financing, and working capital management. The course will be taught in person in French. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. The listed hourly rate for teaching is $239.47 (2024-2025) and does not include vacation or statutory pay. These rates are subject to change upon ratification of a new collective agreement, with retroactive pay provided after ratification. Requirements

  • Must have an MBA or a Master's degree (preferably a Doctorate) in finance.
  • Must possess recent professional experience in financial management.
  • Must have teaching experience, ideally in the field of financial management.
  • Must be a Regular Part-Time Professor.
  • Must be able to teach in French.

Responsibilities

  • Teach the course "Gestion financière" (ADM2750P) during the 2027 Winter Semester.
