About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position to teach ADM3754M - Modélisation financière during the 2027 Winter Semester at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa. The course focuses on applying MS Excel functions to solve financial problems related to corporate finance and investments, including time value of money, present value analysis, asset valuation, cost of capital, financial planning, risk and return, CAPM, optimization, and option valuation. It also introduces econometric software like Stata for multiple regressions, multifactor models, and event study methodology. The course will be delivered in person. Requirements

  • Must have an MBA or Master's degree (preferably a Doctorate) in Finance.
  • Must possess a professional designation in the course's field.
  • Must demonstrate recent professional experience in the course's field.
  • Must have good teaching experience, preferably in financial modeling.
  • Competence in a second language is passive.

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate in Finance is preferred.
  • Teaching experience specifically in financial modeling is preferred.
