About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the CMN3503-B00 course, "Méthodes qualitatives" (Qualitative Methods), during the 2027 Winter Semester in the Department of Communication at the University of Ottawa. The course is an introduction to communication ethnography and qualitative methods for analyzing communication phenomena, including direct observation, case studies, and focus groups, with an emphasis on applying these methodologies. Requirements

Hold a doctorate or master's degree in communication (preferred) or a related discipline.
Have excellent knowledge of qualitative research methods applied to communication studies.

Employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge or expertise in the use of qualitative data analysis software.
