About The Position

Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery to create products while meeting quality and safety standards. The role calls for reliability, attention to detail, willingness to learn and improve, and the ability to work as part of a team. Work takes place in a factory environment with concrete floors that may be noisy, dusty, odorous, and extremely hot. The work involves standing, bending, and repetitive two-handed tasks.

Requirements

Ability to understand and operate various types of mechanical equipment.
Ability to stand for long periods, including 8–12-hour shifts, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to read and interpret written instructions and use basic computer skills.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, for measurements and calculations.
Strong verbal communication skills to report malfunctions and collaborate with the team.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot production machinery to support optimal efficiency and speed.
Inspect finished products for defects and verify that they meet specifications.
Load, unload, and feed raw materials into machinery.
Clean equipment and perform routine maintenance checks.
Accurately record production data, daily equipment check sheets, and hourly production time logs.
Follow PPE requirements, OSHA regulations, and company procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
