About The Position

Volt is hiring a second-shift Production Worker in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to support the assembly of aircraft seating components used on commercial, business, and military aircraft. The role involves hands-on manufacturing and assembly work for a leading aerospace manufacturer, with stable scheduled hours, overtime opportunities, and potential career growth in the aerospace industry.

The position is full-time and scheduled Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The listed pay is $20.50 per hour. Actual pay may depend on factors including education, work experience, work location, job duties, and certifications. Benefits are subject to eligibility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

• Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience.
• Experience reading blueprints or work instructions.
• Familiarity with measuring tools and mechanical assembly.
• Experience working with rivets, fasteners, or other aerospace hardware.
• Mechanical or technical training.

Responsibilities

• Assemble aircraft seating components and subassemblies.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and assembly specifications.
• Inspect parts for fit, quality, and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Support team production goals and on-time delivery requirements.
• Package finished products as needed.
• Perform other production and assembly duties as assigned.
