About The Position

The Production Associate performs repetitive departmental or live assembly operations to mass-produce products such as automobile interior trim components and assemblies. The role may involve different work situations, production lines, or departments as production needs require. Associates are responsible for meeting established quality and production quantity levels and for maintaining preventative maintenance, housekeeping, and safe work practices. Certain positions require the ability to discern color. The associate must be able to work any assigned shift and overtime on short notice. The role also supports implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures. The associate may perform other related duties as required by the supervisor.

Forklift driving classes are required for tow motor drivers only.

Nice To Haves

GED or high school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

Place parts in specified relationships to one another and inspect them.
Fasten parts together using straps, bolts, clips, screws, cement, or other means, by hand or using hand or powered tools.
Operate and maintain equipment such as KPM presses, inspection molds, welders, robots, forklifts, hoists, and cranes for production or material movement.
Drive a tow motor when assigned.
Work in different situations, lines, or departments as production needs require.
Meet established quality and production quantity levels.
Maintain preventative maintenance, housekeeping, and safe work practices.
Support implementation, achievement, and maintenance of Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
Work any assigned shift and overtime on short notice.
Follow other instructions and perform related duties as required by the supervisor.
