Production Worker 1
About The Position
The Production Worker operates production line equipment, assembles and finishes products, and reports issues with equipment or products. The role involves preparing products for painting, checking product quality, storing goods and raw materials in a warehouse, packing goods for shipment, and maintaining work areas and equipment. Candidates should have some mechanical or construction experience, excellent communication skills, and a high degree of mechanical aptitude. All qualified, responsible applicants are encouraged to apply. The day-shift schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. During the busy season, the schedule extends to Monday through Friday and sometimes Saturday. Pay is $18.00–$20.00 per hour for day shift; night shift has an additional $1.00-per-hour differential.
Requirements
- Some mechanical or construction experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A high degree of mechanical aptitude.
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to work on foot for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and assemble goods on production lines.
