About The Position

The Production Worker (Pack-Out Associate) reports to the Pack-Out Supervisor and handles product packaging, quality checks, labeling, and inventory tasks. The role requires working quickly while maintaining a clean and safe workspace, following company GMPs, food safety requirements, and applicable SOPs, and attending monthly plant training. The associate should be self-directed and able to teach others while participating in the workload.

Requirements

• Counting skills, including working with decimals and fractions using a calculator.
• Ability to work at a quick pace while maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Excellent dexterity for manually assembling small parts with hand tools, fixtures, and/or equipment and sorting products for defects.
• Self-directed, go-getter attitude and ability to teach others while participating in the workload.
• Regularly able to stand and move about within work areas.
• Ability to lift loads of 50 pounds.
• Ability to work occasional weekends and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the workplace and pack-out area in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
• Pack accurate quantities and conduct final quality-control checks.
• Package pouches according to customer orders carefully and quickly.
• Label and stack boxes for distribution and perform accurate inventory counts.
• Visually inspect products for quality and sort products for defects.
• Manually assemble small parts using hand tools, fixtures, and/or equipment.
• Follow company GMPs, food-safety requirements, and applicable WPDNs SOPs.
• Attend monthly plant training.
• Teach others while participating in the workload.
