About The Position

The Production Worker transfers raw materials from storage to production and moves finished products from the production line to the freezer. The role works in a manufacturing plant and uses a riding pallet jack or forklift, including a stand-up forklift. It is an individual-contributor position with no direct reports. The role requires following workplace conduct, workplace safety, food safety, good manufacturing practices, and other operational policies. The worker must understand and follow appropriate safety procedures through training, use of protective equipment as applicable, and compliance with relevant policies, regulations, standards, and laws. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma and/or equivalent work experience is required.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions accurately.
• Stand-up forklift proficiency.
• Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite products.

Nice To Haves

• 0–1 years of experience in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transfer raw materials from storage to production using a riding pallet jack or forklift.
• Transfer finished products from the production line and move finished products to the freezer.
• Offload delivered raw materials and other supplies to the storage area and organize them according to facility specifications.
• Stack and organize pallets and maintain a clean working area.
• Remove empty combos and garbage pallets from the department.
• Follow facility and organizational policies for workplace conduct, workplace safety, food safety, good manufacturing practices, and other operational requirements.
• Understand and follow appropriate safety procedures, including applicable training and use of protective equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
