About The Position

As a Packer Inspector, you inspect and package plastic products, ensuring they meet quality standards and are ready for shipment. The role involves working on a production line and helping maintain packaging and production efficiency. The position is a full-time, direct-hire role on the 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. shift. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging role preferred.
Attention to detail and ability to spot defects or inconsistencies.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift or move heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

Inspect finished plastic products for defects such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
Package plastic products according to specifications, selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.
Label packages accurately with product information and any necessary warning labels.
Monitor production line efficiency and identify and resolve packaging or production issues.
Communicate quality concerns or issues to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, dispose of waste materials, and follow safety guidelines.
Monitor packaging-material inventory and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Take responsibility for food safety, food quality, and site safety.
