About The Position

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is hiring a Production Worker at its Troy, Illinois facility. The worker performs manual labor across manufacturing departments, including Weld, Paint, Press, Packing, Shipping, Mill, and Layout. Some departments are more physically demanding, and the worker should be capable of performing work in all departments on a daily basis. Core hours are Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; overtime may exceed these hours and may be mandatory. The rate is $20.45 per hour plus a $0.50-per-hour shift premium. Salary information is a general guideline and may vary based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations. Requirements

Able to frequently carry 10–34 pounds and occasionally carry 35–100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Perform packaging and assembly tasks according to production standards.
Set up materials and components in alignment with shop order specifications.
Stack, band, and secure parts for safe handling and transport.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with workstation setup.
Create barcodes and accurately label finished products.
Cut material using a band saw while following safety procedures.
Handle materials efficiently to support workflow and production needs.
