Production Worker (3rd Shift)

About The Position

Tindall Corporation is a leading precast concrete manufacturer. The Production Worker places steel, strand, and concrete in the bed as needed to produce concrete members, then strips and cleans the bed for the next pour. Employees must follow all safety and quality rules and processes to support a safe working environment and produce high-quality products.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Receive instructions and move torches, steel, and tool buggies to the bed; unload materials.
Uncover the bed; remove side forms, bulkheads, blockouts, and cutbacks as applicable; detension the bed; and clean and oil it.
Lay out rebar, plates, loops, channels, insulation, and related materials.
Pull strand and thread bulkheads, blockouts, frames, and dead man; cut strand with a grinder and place chucks on the ends.
Place and tie rebar, loops, stem and flange wire, and chair flange wire; place forms and side plates.
Prepare for the pour by blowing out the bed with an air hose and receiving pouring tools.
Receive concrete, connect air hoses, and spread and vibrate concrete using a spud vibrator, vibra trak, or vibrating screed.
Place insulation and C ties in the bed when applicable; scrape rails; sweep excess concrete around the bed; collect tools and materials; and store them in the tool chest or return them to the warehouse.
