Requirements

Obsessed with precision and top-notch quality work and can complete tasks within designated timeframes to meet operational expectations.
Staying precise with tools, machinery, and equipment such as a tugger to load, unload, transfer and move materials within the assembly plant. This equipment could operate at heights of up to 35 feet.
Able to read, comprehend, and follow written, standardized work instructions and trained procedures.
Ready to grow, cooperate, and contribute to our dynamic team.
Quick response to safety instructions, alarms, and signals are a must.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
Comfortably wear personal protective equipment.
Navigate a busy environment.
Bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach.
May need to lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. depending on department.
Occasional sitting during certain tasks.
Drive mobile equipment when needed.
18+ years old.
Flexible shift availability.
Must be able to satisfactorily complete the General Motors hiring process requirements which includes drug testing and a background check.
Proficiency to listen, read, follow work and safety instructions.

Nice To Haves

One year of manufacturing experience, preferably in the automotive industry, a warehouse setting, or other similar environment.

Responsibilities

Assembly, machining, quality checks, tool changes, and problem solving of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Loading, unloading, transferring, and moving materials within the assembly plant using tools and equipment such as a tugger.
Reading, comprehending, and following written, standardized work instructions and trained procedures.
Growing, cooperating, and contributing to our dynamic team.

Benefits

Competitive Pay: $21.00 per hour.
Shift Premiums: 5% shift premium for 2nd shift and 10% for 3rd shift.

Paid Holidays: Holidays after 90 days worked.
