About The Position
Dorner Manufacturing, a Columbus McKinnon Organization, has openings for temporary, summer help in production. Openings available on 1st and 2nd shift. Work consistent hours and gain valuable experience; apply now! This position will be assigned to different departments, work in operations where there is a need to backfill vacant positions, cover for leaves or spikes in business.
Requirements
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer, measurement, and math skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to safely lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Works in a safe manner complying with all safety procedures.
- Performs conveyor assemblies or sub assemblies from work orders or blueprints.
- Perform picking/packing/shipping functions.
- Maintains clean and safe work area following 5S procedures.
- Inspects finished product for defects and performs quality checks.
- Other duties as assigned.
