About The Position

This is a temporary position for a Production Worker in the Paint department. The role involves supplying or holding materials or tools, cleaning work areas and equipment, operating machinery, recording inspected products, loading and unloading materials, and counting to determine order completion. The position is for the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. There is potential for full-time hire with benefits. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED certificate and/or industrial experience.
Mechanical ability.
Reading various dimensional mythology instruments.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.
Ability to use forklifts, hammers, hoists, jacks, ladders, screwdrivers, slings, tape measures, variety of hand tools, measuring instruments, power tools such as saws, mechanical machines, paint systems, and assembly operations.

Responsibilities

Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators.
Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected, and notify operators of any malfunctions.
Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.
Mark or tag identification on parts.
Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
Help production workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, cleaning work areas and equipment, and cleaning of doors and frame components.
Clean and lubricate equipment.
Record information such as the number of products inspected, and dates and times of product production.
Other assigned tasks at direction of Supervision.
