About The Position

The Production Worker I is responsible for producing quality product in an efficient manner, following all safety procedures, and ensuring FDA and USDA standards. This role requires a positive and professional attitude, the ability to work in all areas of production, and a willingness to assist with set-up and clean-up. The position involves working on a production line with consistent speed and accuracy, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and adhering to strict guidelines for personal hygiene, dress code, and PPE usage. Teamwork and maintaining food safety are crucial aspects of this role.

Requirements

Must be 18+
High school education or equivalent.
Must be physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force repeatedly; exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects.
Must be able to be on feet (standing and walking) for 8 -10 hours a day.
Visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision.
Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Must have the ability to use logical thinking or solve problems.
Follow all written and verbal instructions.

Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals.
Maintain work equipment utilized in job, report any issues to management.
Report potential issues to management.
Maintains strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene, dress code and proper PPE usage.
Adheres to company policies and individual store guidelines.
Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
Needs to be able to work alongside other individuals on the line as a team.
Maintaining and ensuring food safety.
Assist management with procedures to ensure quality product while seeking cost cutting ideas.
Practices HAACP and Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.
Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.
Be aware of allergens to prevent cross contamination of product.
