About The Position

This role is an individual contributor with no direct reports, responsible for transferring raw materials and finished products within a manufacturing plant environment. The position requires adherence to safety, food safety, and good manufacturing practices, along with other operational policies. The role may involve working with noise, extreme temperatures, and significant movement of equipment and people. Physical agility, including lifting up to 50 pounds and performing various movements like bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and reaching, is necessary. The ability to stand and walk for extended periods on concrete flooring is also required. Overtime work may be necessary.

Requirements

Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.
Ability to follow verbal instructions with accuracy
Stand up Forklift
High School Diploma and/or equivalent work experience is required.
able to work overtime

Responsibilities

Transfer raw materials from storage to production using a riding pallet jack or forklift.
Transfer finished products from the production line to freezer.
Offload delivered raw materials and other supplies to storage area; organize according to facility specifications.
Stack and organize pallets and maintain a clean working area.
Remove empty combos and garbage pallets from department.
Complies with facility and organizational policies governing workplace conduct, workplace safety, food safety, good manufacturing practices and any other operational policies as established.
Understand and place in practice appropriate safety procedures through education, training, use of protective equipment, and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
Perform other duties as assigned.
