Performs a wide variety of entry to mid-level electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies, sub-assemblies, or finished goods. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, minor basic soldering, component installation, and cable harnesses on unit assemblies utilizing prescribed guidelines, procedures, work orders, or supervisory direction. Adheres to standardized methods. Reads and interprets assembly drawings, BOM’s, process sheets and routings. Make simple fits using hand and power tools. Make adjustment or alignment of parts for operating capability utilizing go-no go gauges. Make simple tests of completed unit following prescribed procedures and limits of acceptance.
