About The Position

This role is responsible for operating equipment, maintaining water flow to the plant, performing inspections and lubrication, ensuring safety compliance, cross-training in various duties, and supporting effective communication and operational efficiency. The position requires prompt, regular, and predictable attendance, a positive, team-based attitude, and the ability to perform various physical tasks in varied outdoor environments. The role also requires adherence to MSHA safety requirements and company safety policies, and the ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required
Ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
Ability to meet all MSHA safety requirements and adhere to company safety policies
Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat exceeding 100 degrees, cold and rain
Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, or pull, push, as well as bend and lift up to 80 pounds

Responsibilities

Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
Operate front end loader/skid steer
Keep water pumped running to maintain fresh water to the plant
Grease and inspect the plant
Cross train to learn other duties
Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations
Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance
Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
