About The Position

KCI Technologies, Inc. is hiring an entry-level Utility Laborer to perform field work involving utility systems. On-the-job training will be provided for the skills needed to succeed. The role involves learning to operate vacuum excavation equipment, record field-gathered data, and use handheld technology to interpret utility locations. Basic computer skills are a plus. A Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card for Commercial Motor Vehicle operation is required. A valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain required certifications are also required. Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment; background and motor vehicle checks may be required depending on the position. Requirements

Entry-level position; 0–2 years of experience in field work involving utility systems.
Willingness and ability to learn to operate vacuum excavation equipment and record field-gathered data.
Aptitude to learn handheld technology used to interpret utility locations.
Ability to obtain a DOT medical card for Commercial Motor Vehicle operation.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to maintain required certifications.
