About The Position

We are seeking an Underground Utilities Laborer to support the day-to-day operations of construction projects. The role requires travel between Lawrence, Kansas, and Independence, Missouri.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel between Lawrence, Kansas, and Independence, Missouri.

• Experience in construction or a related industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, digging trenches, and operating hand and power tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction staff to support project success.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in construction practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
