This role is for the 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 2pm-10pm. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Willingness to complete fork lift certification upon hire.
  • Ability to learn and carry out lock out tag out procedures as required.
  • Lifting 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform data entry for inventory systems and labeling software.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work safely as part of a team to produce quality Sargento products.
  • Read and understand production orders to verify information is correct.
  • Communicate effectively and accurately.
  • Be mindful of the food production process and ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
  • Be dependable and take pride in working with a team.
  • Assist with the setup and placement of production equipment.
  • Work alongside state-of-the-art automated equipment.
  • As necessary, use cleaning chemicals to sanitize and clean equipment and production areas.
  • Periodically serve in a back-up capacity in the Cheese Tubber role, which involves continuously moving, stacking, and delivering tubs of cheese through the entire packaging area that weigh between 11-25 lbs and pushing carts weighing up to 150 lbs.
