About The Position

This role is responsible for conducting safety and forklift training, continuously improving classroom orientation programs, and ensuring all new Team Member documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time. The position also involves providing annual training for plant employees and on-the-job training for employees. Additionally, the Production Trainer will assess the need for interpreters in various departments to ensure communication clarity and coordinate interpreter assistance. The role also includes helping new Team Members acclimate to the facility and understand the qualification process. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and understanding of the work performed in the area of responsibility preferred.
  • Previous training or Production experience preferred.
  • Standard computer skills - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Must be comfortable in presenting material to large groups.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety and forklift training.

  • Ensure all new Team Member documentation is completed in a timely manner and submitted to their file.
  • Provide annual training for plant employees.
  • Provide on the job training for Employees.
  • Assess the need for interpreters in various departments for communications clarity and coordinate the assistance of the interpreter.
  • Assist in acclimating new Team Members in and around the confines of the facility and with the qualification process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
