About The Position

Systel's business is growing, especially with product which needs conformal coating. While the company is looking for individuals to become subject matter experts in conformal coating, the current hiring is for a Test Operator. This role is responsible for all testing activities associated with assuring product function and configuration, testing personal computers and peripherals according to work instructions and input from lead personnel. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions
  • Ability to set up and configure computer BIOS
  • Ability to install operating systems and images
  • Ability to identify problems and potential problems related to computer functionality as compared to work instructions and software operation
  • Ability to install peripheral drivers and check operation of such

Responsibilities

  • All work activities shall be conducted in a manner that supports Systel’s Quality Manual, Quality Policy, Quality Objectives
  • Configuring BIOS according to work instructions
  • Installing operating systems
  • Installing images
  • Testing all computer ports for functionality
  • Loading diagnostic programs and starting computers for burn-in testing
  • Final testing of computer systems and peripherals to ensure that outgoing product meets all functionality parameters, customer specified requirements and quality requirements
  • Maintaining professional work behavior
  • Maintaining a safe work environment
  • Maintaining an organized work environment and practicing good housekeeping
  • Performing Hotpot and Ground-bond testing to ensure product safety
  • Perform other work-related duties assigned
