About The Position

This position involves picking up dry linen and feeding items into various dry fold machines. The role requires adherence to standard operating procedures for each machine, inspection of linen for defects such as stains, tears, holes, and wear, and meeting quality and production standards. The job is a temporary position with a start date of 8/26 for the first shift.

Requirements

• Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day.
• Be able to push/pull linen carts up to 800 lbs (in wheels).
• Be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Be able to operate computer/printer.
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Picks up dry linen and feeds an item into various dry fold machines.
• Follows standard operating procedures for each machine.
• Inspects each piece of linen for stains, tears, holes, and wears.
• Meets quality and production standards.
• Be on time.
• Have excellent attendance.
• Meet established production standards.
• Follow all company safety rules.
• Be able to work well with a diverse workforce.
• Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Possess and maintain a positive attitude.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in line with company policies.
• Be able to work past the schedule, as production issues may arise.
• Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit.
• Cross-train in other positions per production needs.
