About The Position

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is hiring production technicians at a variety of levels for its Somerville, Massachusetts facility. Technicians will help build hardware for fusion energy innovation. The role is available on weekday first, second, and third shifts. The posted hourly pay range is $30–$47 before applicable shift differentials, depending on level, qualifications, experience, and location. Second shift pays a 10% differential, and third shift pays a 15% differential. The position includes equity and benefits.

Candidates selected after the application stage will be invited to a hiring event at the Somerville facility. The event is scheduled for November 17 or 18, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; selected applicants will receive a confirmation email with their arrival time and event details. Applicants should bring an updated resume, wear closed-toe shoes, and bring any questions about working at CFS, its roles, or the hiring process.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of electromechanical parts and assemblies.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing discrepancies.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Great attention to detail.
