About The Position

As a Production Technician, you operate equipment to manufacture plastic containers for leading consumer brands. The company emphasizes high product-quality standards and a positive team culture. Requirements

Ability to work first or third shift, Monday through Friday.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
At least one year of experience as a Manufacturing Production Technician working with equipment used for high-volume production.
Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electromechanical systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds individually and up to 70 pounds with a team lift, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of extrusion or blow-molding equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate extrusion and blow-molding manufacturing equipment.
Monitor equipment and adjust settings such as heat control, water cooling temperatures, and hydraulic pressure to produce high-quality rigid plastic containers.
Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance.
Perform quality checks, including checking bottle weights and dimensions, to ensure customer requirements are met.
Work with the team to identify continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, reliability, quality, and scrap reduction.
Develop skills through formal and side-by-side training.
