About The Position

The Production Tech works in a manufacturing environment to meet daily production needs while producing quality parts. The role works safely as part of a team and may assist other shifts or areas as needed. The employee reads and interprets specification sheets and mechanical drawings, uses precision measuring instruments, and sets up and troubleshoots equipment. The work area must be kept clean. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specification sheets, and/or mechanical drawings, and in precision measurement, or the ability to become proficient through training.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent standing, hearing, walking, reaching, lifting or lowering, pushing or pulling, and handling or finely manipulating objects.
• Frequently lift, move, push, or pull up to 20 lbs.; occasionally lift, move, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Vision correction is acceptable if it meets applicable safety guidelines.
