About The Position

The Production Tech performs production processes to meet the service needs of individual restoration projects and maintains the professional appearance of SERVPRO equipment and an assigned service vehicle. Through quality, consistent, and efficient work, the technician represents the cleanup and restoration industry. The role offers a competitive pay rate and opportunities to learn and grow, with a training and development program that may include industry certifications. Requirements

Effective oral communication skills.
Basic math skills.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.
Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects.
Ability to work with or around cleaning products and chemicals.
Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary.
Ability to successfully complete a background check, subject to applicable law.

Nice To Haves

Experience in cleaning or restoration.
IICRC certifications.

Responsibilities

Inventory and load the work vehicle with the equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
Prepare rooms and areas for work activities; set up the staging area and equipment for each project.
Perform production processes as directed.
Follow safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
Communicate with the crew chief and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
Perform end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup and breakdown, leaving the jobsite clean and orderly.
