Production Technician, Graveyard, 12 hour shifts
About The Position
Portland Bottling Company is seeking a Production Technician to join their team. This role is responsible for operating production equipment safely, ensuring quality and efficiency. The technician will monitor machine operations, regulate machine flow, speed, and temperature, and stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur. They will also troubleshoot and report deviations, ensure products are manufactured safely by following Good Manufacturing Practices, complete production paperwork, and maintain punctual attendance. The position requires working collaboratively in a team environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Food & Beverage experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of sanitation, GMP and allergen handling processes a plus
- Prior experience with production paperwork a plus
Responsibilities
- Performing all tasks associated with production equipment in a safe manner, keeping quality and efficiency in mind.
- Observing machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products.
- Regulating machine flow, speed, or temperature.
- Stopping or resetting machines when malfunctions occur.
- Troubleshooting and reporting all deviations from standard parameters. Working with the team to determine root cause of the problem.
- Ensuring all products are manufactured safely by following Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Completing required production paperwork accurately.
- Maintaining punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
- Working collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
