Production Technician: Temp to Perm

About The Position

The Production Technician is a temporary-to-full-time position accountable for quality manufacturing and logistical activities related to the company’s products, maintenance of production and warehouse facilities, and maintaining a safe working environment. The position reports directly to the Production Supervisor.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
0–3 years of experience in chemical production or manufacturing.
Experience operating a PLC-based automated manufacturing process.
2–3 years of forklift experience; on-site certification will be provided.
Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills under pressure.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work in a timely manner with little supervision.
Chemical manufacturing experience.
Ability to climb stairs.
Ability to lift 50 pounds unaided.
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.
Non-vaper/smoker.

Responsibilities

Accurately and safely manufacture ACM Chemistries’ products using an automated batching process.
Accurately and safely ship bulk and packaged finished products and receive bulk and packaged raw materials.
Maintain or exceed company quality and safety standards.
Assist with and coordinate production facility maintenance, upgrades, standardized work process development, and other duties as directed.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment in the production facility and warehouse.
Maintain accurate and timely reports of production facility, warehouse, and shipping activities and procedures.
Establish strong, trusting, and mutually respectful relationships with other ACM staff members.
Assist with research and development activities as directed.
Assist other company representatives as directed.
Maintain the ACM Lot Tracking Log.
