This specific role is for a Production Technician I at First Quality Retail Services in Lewistown, PA, responsible for operating machinery safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate well.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a machine in a safe, competent, efficient, and productive manner.
• Observe all safety rules and use proper safety equipment.
• Follow necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines.
• Maintain quality standards for the product.
• Ensure proper raw material verification, handling, and usage.
• Keep the machine and surrounding area clean.
• Perform the duties of a Lead Operator when necessary.
• Assist maintenance personnel as required.
• Follow instructions of the Lead Operator.
• Assist with the training of other employees.
• Assist other lines as needed.
• Perform other duties as necessary when directed.
• Complete changeovers and some mechanical tasks.
• Complete process clean-up as required or needed.
• Use MES, QW, eQCM, and other computer programs.
• Understand Vision, product details, waste reasons and reactions to manage line operation.
