About The Position

Our Duluth office is seeking a Production Technician for our Engraving Solutions business, which sells through our Brady and Gravotech brands. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day completion of production work orders, quality testing and accuracy of paperwork associated with these tasks. This individual will also support continuous improvement in all areas of the business with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency consistent with Lean manufacturing principles. This is an on-site role at our location in Duluth, GA.

Requirements

• Ability to execute and complete machine production work orders accurately, to a strict quality standard and on schedule.
• Ability to prioritize jobs based on current business requirements.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting and repair of components identified as faulty during the manufacturing process.
• Ability to document issues to aid in root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Ability to recommend and implement changes to work areas and processes for improved efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Ability to assemble or configure items for sales kits that do not require a work order, ensuring all parts are of acceptable quality.
• Ability to perform modifications to stock machines as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles.
