About The Position

The Production Technician operates equipment to manufacture plastic containers for consumer brands. The role uses extrusion and blow-molding equipment in a clean, safe, climate-controlled, food-grade facility. Technicians monitor and adjust equipment settings to produce high-quality rigid plastic containers, troubleshoot equipment, perform routine preventive maintenance, and conduct quality checks to ensure customer specifications are met. The position works a rotating 3-2-2-3 schedule on night shift, with 12-hour shifts from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience as a Manufacturing Process Technician working with equipment used for high-volume production.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and blow-molding manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor equipment and adjust settings, including heat controls, water-cooling temperatures, and hydraulic pressure.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Perform quality checks, including checking bottle weights and dimensions, to ensure customer requirements are met.
