About The Position

The Production Technician operates manufacturing equipment to produce rigid plastic containers for consumer brands. The role involves working in a clean, safe, food-grade, climate-controlled facility and maintaining product quality and a positive team culture. Technicians operate extrusion and blow-molding equipment, monitor and adjust production settings, troubleshoot equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and conduct quality checks against customer specifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience as a Manufacturing Process Technician working with equipment used for high-volume production.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.

• Working knowledge of extrusion or blow-molding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and blow-molding manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor equipment and adjust settings such as heat controls, water-cooling temperatures, and hydraulic pressure to produce high-quality containers.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Perform quality checks, including checks of bottle weights and dimensions, to ensure customer requirements are met.
