About The Position

The Production Technician completes and supports tasks associated with manufacturing Coca-Cola beverages. This is a bargaining union position represented by Local 773, International Brotherhood of Teamsters. The role is based in Allentown, United States, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Daily overtime in four-hour increments and additional workdays may be required when business dictates. Travel is listed as 00%–25%, and relocation is not provided.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
At least one year of light industrial experience.
Ability to operate manufacturing equipment.
Basic math skills and reading comprehension.

Responsibilities

Perform production tasks such as equipment setup, filling, labeling, and recordkeeping in accordance with the Coca-Cola Quality System.
Clean and sanitize tanks and piping, maintain conveyors, and load raw materials according to GMP policies.
Move raw materials and finished goods using forklifts or warehouse equipment to support production and shipping.
Inspect production, warehouse, and service areas for compliance with safety, operating policies, and GMP standards.
Implement and maintain the Coca-Cola Quality System to meet product quality requirements.
Calculate and record production yields, scrap, and material usage variances.
Conduct microbiological testing of ingredients, water, and finished products, and perform ingredient receiving and trailer inspections.
Communicate with team members to address product or service issues, solve problems, and support business objectives.
Identify and report non-compliance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation and retain records related to policy and procedure compliance.
