About The Position

Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician - Floater to join their Production team. The primary duties will include providing support in various departments based on daily production needs by performing duties in either the assembly, inventory, mechanical, shipping/receiving, and soldering areas. This is a full-time, daylight position, Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. The role requires the ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities outlined in multiple job descriptions (Assembler Technician, Inventory Technician, Mechanical-Silkscreen Technician, Shipping/Receiving/Packaging Technician, Soldering Technician) on any given day, dependent upon production needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to use calipers, micrometers and tape measurer.
  • Strong math aptitude.
  • Ability to work precisely with small parts and do repetitive work.
  • Possess physical and manual dexterity skills.
  • Be safety conscious.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Alpha/numeric keyboard skills.
  • Tact, professionalism & diplomacy.
  • Ability to work on an individual basis as well as in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to report to work as scheduled and on time.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Strong organization, planning, time, and project management skills.
  • Focus on safety and quality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in two or more of the following: Silkscreen, Mechanical Fabrication, Inventory, Shipping/Receiving/Packaging, Soldering, Assembling.

Responsibilities
