About The Position

Leggett & Platt Incorporated is seeking a Production Floater to support their Automotive business. This role will assist in production operations and open box inspection processes as needed. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.
• Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Quantity - Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity.

• Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production operations and open box inspection processes as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
• Coordinate with supervisor at the beginning of each shift to determine job functions needed for the day.
• Assist with material handling, assembly, packaging, inspections, and load/unload procedures.
• Use hand trucks or buggies to move materials about the production floor.
• Perform other duties such as gluing on a production line.
• Practice good safety techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
