About The Position

The Production Technician Apprentice operates, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs high-speed manufacturing equipment. The role also includes performing quality checks and recording results in automated quality-control systems, interpreting data to support quality and productivity decisions, and carrying out routine and emergency maintenance on process equipment. Employees maintain sanitation, housekeeping, and safety standards in their work areas. The schedule consists of 12-hour shifts rotating between days and nights every quarter, with required weekend and holiday hours and mandatory overtime as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of industrial experience; high-speed manufacturing or packaging experience is preferred.
• Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting.
• Able and willing to work a rotating 12-hour schedule, including day and night shift rotations and required weekend and holiday hours.
• Able and willing to work mandatory overtime as required.
• Superior work history, including good attendance.
• Knowledge of safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-speed manufacturing equipment.
• Prioritize operation and maintenance across multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment.
• Perform quality checks and record results in automated quality-control systems.
• Interpret data to make quality and productivity decisions.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on process equipment.
• Maintain work areas in accordance with sanitation, housekeeping, and safety standards.
• Successfully complete the MCC Ramsay Test within six months.
• Obtain Driver's License Certification within six months.
