About The Position

UniFirst is hiring a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner for its Production Department. The role involves working with a team to help ensure customer garments and other articles are in exceptional condition through inspection, folding, bundling, packaging, and bagging. The position offers on-the-job training and ongoing cross-training across production areas, with opportunities for career advancement. The work schedule is a 40-hour, five-day week, with Saturdays and Sundays off.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Nice To Haves

• High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fold cloths, towels, and wipers.
• Bundle, package, and bag articles according to company requirements.
• Inspect products for holes, tears, stains, and damage.
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP requirements, and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by the area supervisor or management.
