About The Position

UniFirst is seeking a reliable, hardworking Production Team Partner for its Production Department. The role involves working with a team to keep customer garments and other articles in exceptional condition through folding, packaging, and quality inspection. The position provides on-the-job training and ongoing cross-training in different production areas, with opportunities for career growth and advancement. It offers a 40-hour work week, with Saturdays and Sundays off.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight, volume, and distance.

Nice To Haves

• High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fold cloths, towels, and wipers.
• Bundle, package, and bag articles according to company requirements.
• Inspect products for holes, tears, stains, and damage.
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP guidelines, and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as directed by the area supervisor or management.
