About The Position

UniFirst is hiring a reliable, hardworking Production Team Partner for its Production Department. The role works as part of a team to ensure customer garments and other articles are in exceptional condition through folding, packaging, bagging, and quality inspection. UniFirst provides on-the-job training and ongoing cross-training in different production areas, which can support performance, career potential, and advancement. The position has a 40-hour work week with Saturdays and Sundays off.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Nice To Haves

• High school education and/or GED equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fold cloths, towels, and wipers.
• Bundle, package, and bag articles in accordance with company requirements.
• Inspect products for holes, tears, stains, and damage.
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP guidelines, and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by the area supervisor or management.
