About The Position
UniFirst is seeking a reliable, hardworking Production Team Partner for the Pre-Tunnel Inspection Department. This team-based role supports customer quality assurance by inspecting garments as they are processed through a steam tunnel. On-the-job training and ongoing cross-training are provided, with opportunities to learn different production areas and advance within the company. The position has a 40-hour work week, with Saturdays and Sundays off. The estimated pay range is $15.25 to $19.06 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic differentials. Recruitment will remain open until the position is filled.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Able to stand for an 8-hour shift.
- Able to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
- Able to perform basic mathematical functions using American standard units for weight, measurement, volume, and distance.
- Able to lift up to 10 pounds and push up to 25 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Count garments.
- Hang garments to be processed through the steam tunnel.
- Visually inspect garments for tears, holes, stains, and damage.
- Ensure garments pass the UniFirst 20-point uniform inspection process.
- Follow safety policies, HACCP, and medical guidelines.
- Perform other duties as directed by the area supervisor or management.
