About The Position

Collis, LLC, a subsidiary of SSW Advanced Technologies, LLC, is a growing multinational supplier to the global appliance OEMs. With over 70 years of expertise and innovation, they design and sell components and systems to various markets including residential appliances (refrigeration, cooking, laundry), commercial refrigeration, HVAC, retail display, and home/office organization. The Production Team Member will be responsible for assembling and preparing products for shipment. This involves placing raw materials into manufacturing machines, packaging finished products, organizing them for shipment, and performing quality checks on equipment and products to ensure high production standards.

Requirements

High School diploma is required.
Availability to go to the division from Monday to Friday.
Detailed and hands-on oriented.

Experience in Metal Manufacturing companies is preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow safety procedures as instructed.
Report any unsafe conditions to the Company.
Follow work instructions, quality procedures, and work standards.
Interact in a professional manner with other employees.
Participate with work teams as needed.
Work overtime as necessary.
Read routing and perform work as assigned by department supervisor.
Move, manipulate, modify and/or assemble materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished products from raw materials.
Use manual tools as instructed to perform work.
Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.
Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
Operate production machinery as instructed to perform work.
Track production on schedule boards.
Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operators of any malfunctions.
Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
Place finished goods in designated containers per packing standards.
Separate products according to weight, grade, size, or composition of materials used to produce them.
Properly dispose of all scrap produced during shift.
Fill out daily production reports.
Fill out hourly quality reports.
Maintain a clean and safe work area per area 5S procedures.
