About The Position

The Production Team Member manufactures or prepares parts in accordance with Cobalt standards and follows safety and quality guidelines while meeting customer standards. The role involves reading and understanding paperwork to follow the proper steps, using equipment and supplies responsibly, and completing tasks either individually or as part of a team. Team members maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with safety and 5S standards. Duties may vary across production areas, and other duties may be assigned.

The position is full-time and based at Cobalt KS in Neodesha, Kansas. The work shift is day shift, with typical 10-hour workdays and frequent overtime. Safety glasses are required at all times; gloves and other personal protective equipment may be required depending on the position or workstation. Some positions require passing Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT).

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; alternatively, one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• General math skills.
• Ability to use common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions and address problems involving variables in procedures or the work environment.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
• Safety glasses must be worn at all times; other PPE requirements may vary by position or workstation.
• Some positions require the ability to pass Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT).
